X Games MegaRamp
Here’s the top 3 from 2009 X Games Big Air Skateboarding. 3rd place Rob Lortifice, 2nd Place Bob Burnquist, 1st place Jake Brown. (Actually Jake and Bob both scored 94.0, but Jake got his 94.0 first so maybe that’s why they gave it to him)? Anyway I glad nobody got hurt. That stuff is pretty gnarly.

I got a call from colt bowden a little over a year ago…..he just called to say hello. The conversation was short and the only part I really remember was when I asked him if he still skated. I remember his reply was ‘I still skate..but just for recreational purposes’. I really liked the way he skated and I periodically check youtube to see if anyone ever uploads any of his older parts. I just found this the other day. Colt is a great skater…I guess this is what recreational skating looks like. I’m into it.

Happy 40th Felix!
Morgan and I have been logging some serious hours over at the berrics filming his Bangin’ and Felix’s Battle Commander, we finished last night with Felix’s 40th trick with only about 3 hours to spare before his 40th birthday at midnight. It was lots of hard work for everyone. Congrats Felix and Happy Birthday!

Although I thought the Maloof Cup was over rated the skating was great and skinny was a blast to drink with. I think if Skinny and I got to go out more often we would have lots of great stories and a ton of gnarly hangovers so Skinny lets get to the bar soon my friend!

Introducing Chris Blake…
A few months back I got an email from a cool kid on the East Coast named Chris Blake that included a link to a really nice little video part. I decided to start sending him Upful stuff and we were both stoked. Shortly after that, Aaron posted some footy of the Back to the Banks contest he filmed while in NY and I noticed that the guy who won best trick on the rail looked alot like Chris. I quickly BBMed JubJub and he confirmed that it was indeed my new homie CB. This got Chris some serious recognition on all the sites and even Fuel and ESPN, so I thought I would try to continue the hype with this short little intro interview. (More …)

Its Time to Ride
Alrights y’all we just celebrated the independence of our Country (4th of July) and the great Canada Day (July 1st) “what’s up eh?” hope everyone had a great time, I was getting rowdy from what I heard. So I have been chillin with A.B. Baracus (Aaron Brown) and the Canadian driver Morgan Smith they have been quite the mischievous duo lately. These D’Bags had me convinced that this photographer Mapstone picks people up when he meets them. So basically the entire day I kept my distance from this guy only later to find out they were @$#*ing with me. I was pretty pissed but not for long, we met up with the Muckles. Mucks starts telling us how he’s headed to the Big Apple in August until Morgan casually adds “don’t u know it snows there in August, you better bring some snow clothes” just then Mucks travel buddy calls and Mucks starts telling his buddy that its gonna snow in NY when they are there. His buddy was like w.t.f. is wrong with you no its not and we all just started busting up. So if anyone who reads this gets caught in the mix with these two watch out be prepared its TIME to RIDE, cause they will get u going and there’s no turning back. Till next time keep it beefy and don’t forget to put your back into it.

Blind in San Diego
Here’s some footage from our trip to San Diego the other week. It was definitely a memorable experience since it was the first time I ever got to skate with Sean Sheffey. I had a fun time skating and filming hopefully you guys have a fun time watching.
