Skinny: Boardslide
From what I’ve heard, mad tricks have gone down on the Dwindle Distribution handrail. Kickflip back tails and switch heel crooked grinds and whatnot, but this boardslide performed by none other than Shaun “Skinny” Morgan is at the top of the list in my opinion. Just check the full arm extension and how high up on the rail he is. That tall motherfucker is twice the height of the damn rail, now although that takes away most of the sack factor it also means that that’s a whole lotta body to make steezy. Of course Skinny pulls it off with ease while probably a few deep if I remember correctly. This was gonna be a short one but I decided I wanna take a trip down memory lane. The razor sharp crew is actually responsible for Skinny’s nickname that is now world famous (I use the term world famous loosely). We used to see him at random spots with his crew and there was the standard greetings as acquaintances but that’s about it. I’d call him Skinny but not to his face, mind you it wasn’t a dis I just thought it was a good nickname but wasn’t tight enough with the guy to throw it out. Well finally one night at the block he was skating at Vans, while we were parading around the mall wasted as ever. Once we saw him we proceeded to yell Skinny a few times right when he was about to try a trick, basically fucking with him a little. He took it all in stride once he saw it was us and it was the beginning of some good times. From then on we started to party with the him a lot: house parties, kickbacks, lame clubs, basically all the shit you do before you were 21. Since the morning after partying we usually would go skate, Skinny would typically be with us. The rest, as they say, is history. Now more than likely when you meet the dude he’s gonna introduce himself as Skinny, or maybe give you a “hi my name’s Shaun but you can call me Skinny.” Anyway Skinny is one of the best friends you could ask for, he’s got your back at all times and his gift of gab is one of the best and most definitely entertaining. Whether its smashing spots or smashing beers this guy is down. What’s up Mo! Beef!!!
